FOSTERING A LOVE FOR LEARNING
IN EARLY CHILDHOOD

IN EARLY CHILDHOOD THE SEEDS OF LEARNING, CURIOSITY, AND KINDNESS ARE PLANTED

At Chabad Early Learning Center, we do so in the most professional and caring way.

Cognition
Cognition
We encourage the children to develop active investigational skills through questioning, exploring and observing, together with the thinking and problem-solving abilities needed to thrive in a world of challenge and competition. Children are surrounded with books, literacy experiences and exposure to the alphabet to prepare them for pre-reading and the reading that follows.

Socialization

Physical Development
Physical Development
Children are provided constant opportunities to develop their gross and fine motor skills, to develop finger strength and dexterity, and hand-eye and body coordination both within the classroom as well as in our expansive outdoor yard.

EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Children are encouraged to self-motivate, develop a positive self-concept, to understand the difference between right and wrong and to develop responsibility. They are encouraged to recognize that people are diverse and to be accepting of others. We help them learn and practice appropriate ways to respond to others and to express their feelings constructively.

INTEGRATING JEWISH TRADITION
INTEGRATING JEWISH TRADITION
Lesson plans at Chabad Early Learning Center are built around the events influencing the children at the time that they are being taught. Weather changes, seasonal animal habits, national celebrations and holidays all determine what will be brought into the classroom at any particular time of year. All these are laced into the general curriculum to allow the children to learn from what is going on around them.
